MiWorkspace is a managed technology platform provided by U-M Information and Technology Services (ITS) that takes the complexity out of your day-to-day computing. Whether you're on campus, working remotely, or moving between locations, MiWorkspace ensures your Windows or Mac device is secure, up-to-date, and ready-to-go.
MiWorkspace is available in two tiers:
- MiWorkspace Full provides a completely managed experience, including network storage, hardware lifecycle management, and dedicated on-site support from Neighborhood IT staff, so you have a local team ready to help when you need it.
- MiWorkspace Core provides the same foundational platform — security, software, and mobility — managed centrally by ITS, while your unit's own IT staff handles day-to-day desktop support. That means no matter where you are, on- or off-campus, your device works consistently and reliably from day one.
Not sure which tier you're on? See how to determine if you are MiWorkspace Full or Core.
