U-M Zoom Rooms requires using a standard package of hardware that has been vetted for use with U-M Zoom Rooms. Below are the components available with each standard package, which will be sold by Tech Shop online.
Medium Package
The medium package is ideal for medium-sized rooms with 1-10 seats.
- Poly Studio X52 w/ TC10
- Safeware 4-year protection plan
- Optional features:
- Display size of unit's choice or they reuse an existing display.
- Expansion microphone
- Additional cameras
- Display mounting kit
Large Package
The large package is ideal for large-sized rooms up to 20 seats.
- Poly Studio X72 w/ TC10
- Safeware 4-year protection plan
- Optional features:
- Display size of unit's choice or they reuse an existing display.
- Expansion microphone
- Additional cameras
- Display mounting kit
Flex Package
The flex package is suited for larger rooms with 10+ seats or unique rooms that benefit from a premium audio and video experience. The customer will need to provide their own speakers solution.
- Poly G62 w/ TC10
- Safeware 4-year protection plan
- Additional cameras
- IP Table Microphone or IP Ceiling Microphone
- Optional: Display size of unit's choice or they reuse an existing display.
Hardware Lifecycle
Expect to refresh Zoom Room's hardware approximately every 4 years. Please find the Zoom Rooms hardware roadmap here.
If you are interested in Crestron, Q-SYS, or Extron integration, please submit a request and we will consult with you on your use case. Do not purchase hardware until your use case has been reviewed and approved by the U-M Zoom Rooms team.
