Academic Scheduling and Classroom Optimization
25Live and the Schedule25 Optimizer allow academic units to do mass class scheduling. The algorithm matches class sections, room characteristics, and building preferences to the available unit-managed classrooms. Campus academic units can use the Optimizer during the month before Fall/Winter curriculum freeze to more effectively schedule their unit-managed spaces.
Event Scheduling
SPACES offers Event Scheduling features to help manage non-class events in unit-owned locations.
- Unit scheduling staff can schedule events in their locations, and view and manage event and location details.
- Request forms and approval workflow are available if units want to allow others to submit space requests.
- For locations that don't require review and approval, Express Scheduling allows self service reservations on a first-come first-served basis.
SPACES Reports and X25 Analytics
SPACES reporting and analytics are most helpful after a unit has been using SPACES for academic and/or event scheduling so that historical data is available. SPACES offers reports and analytics to provide room and event data, assess scheduling and inventory fitness, model potential future scenarios, and view curriculum data to assess enrollment and scheduling.
