The Sandbox is your place to "play" around with a copy of eRPM, without fear of completing your real project incorrectly. You can upload documents, enter information, add administrative personnel—just like being in eResearch Proposal Management.
Accessing the eRPM Sandbox
- Use the appropriate U-M Virtual Private Network (VPN) client. See Use a Secure Internet Connection to download the VPN for your campus.
- Log in to the eRPM Sandbox.
- The same eResearch system requirements apply to the Sandbox. You will be required to enter your uniqname and UMICH password.
Note
- The Sandbox environment is used for training and informational purposes only. Data entered in the Sandbox will not be reviewed, processed, or approved. Data will be purged from the Sandbox periodically.
- There is scheduled maintenance on the Sandbox server on Mondays (typically after an eRPM release) from 3–7 p.m to apply the latest updates. The Sandbox may be unavailable during this time.
