Note: As of 1/11, the Multi-Record Search functionality for clearing and resetting values has been fixed.
The eResearch Proposal Management (eRPM) system release effective December 14 includes an upgrade to the latest vendor framework (Huron Portal Version 10.0.8). The release has the following minor look and feel changes and some new features, namely:
- Role selection indicator
- Breadcrumb trail placement
- Table row shading and personalization
- Locating Activity History details

My Roles menu
Current workspace indicator: For those individuals that have more than one role, a new arrow icon was added next to the role name, e.g., ORSP, PI & Project Team, Reviewer, Unit Liaison, etc., to further indicate which workspace/role is currently selected.

Breadcrumb navigation trail
The Path tab was removed. It was previously located to the left of My Home. The Breadcrumb trail now always displays to allow easier access to navigate to the previous page, tab, or workspace.
Searches / Tables
Row shading: To help with readability, every other row of tables and search results appears shaded.

Filter bar
If Filter by options appear grayed-out, it means they are unavailable for use while search results are loading. Before and after a search is complete, it will be available to use.

Personalize data table display and export results
In addition to filtering search results, you can personalize how data is displayed in a table using new personalization features. Available on project listers, activity logs, and custom searches, click the gear
icon in the top-right corner of a table to view options that allow you to change the columns that display, the order in which they display, and more.

From the Personalize Table pop-up, you can:
- Show or hide fields in a table
- Change the order of fields
- Change the position of the paging bar
- Auto refresh the table data
- Export table data to a Comma Separated Value (CSV) format

Notes:
- Any changes you make remain in place, even after logging out and back in, until you reset to default or make other personalization changes.
- Any customizations you make only affect your view of the lister. Anyone else who accesses the same lister will not see the same customizations.

Searches & Project Listers
Export to CSV
The “Export” button on certain workspace tabs and searches was updated and renamed. It is also found on the ‘Personalize Data Table’ display. After clicking the "Export to CSV" button, the button text may indicate “please wait…” and the percentage “% complete” (for reports with larger results). Note: If you have access to this functionality, please do not run an export on very large record sets (i.e. thousands), as it could potentially slow down system performance.
Project Workspaces (PAF, AWD, UFA, etc.)
Recent Activity, Activity History, and Change Tracking
When clicking an activity from the Recent Activity list, Activity History, or Change Tracking/Log tab, a Summary of [Activity/Change] window will slide-in.
- Click the View More Details link to see additional information about the activity changes, which opens in a new window.
- Use the ← Prev(ious) and Next → links to navigate through the activities and changes.
- Click << Return to Workspace to go back to the project workspace.
