ITS delivers television content across the Ann Arbor campus using both a traditional cable network and Internet-based services.
- Cable Television
A full lineup of news, entertainment, and sports channels is available through our campus-wide cable network. Campus units can purchase a cable connection in most campus buildings. Cable service is available in residence hall lounges and other public areas, and in some graduate student apartments.
- Philo Internet Television
Faculty, staff, and students have access to a lineup of local broadcast channels using Philo Internet Television.
- Xfinity on Campus
Students living in residence halls and the Northwood Community Apartments can access Xfinity on Campus, a service offered by Comcast. Note: Access to Xfinity on Campus is currently complementary: it will be offered on a for-fee basis at a later date.
- Television Options for On-campus Residents
Residence hall and Northwood residents have many options for connecting to video services of their choice.
- The ITS Live Event Streaming service lets you broadcast your campus event in real time to viewers on campus and across the globe to an unlimited number of viewers.
- MiVideo helps organize, catalog, share, search, and publish multimedia content. Management consoles make it easy to tag and filter content, as well as control access.
