Our Teams

  • Administration & Operations

    Equips ITS to achieve its mission through finance, procurement, human resources, facilities, workforce development, project management, and communications.

  • Advanced Research Computing (ARC)

    Provides advanced computing, data, and consulting services that help U-M researchers address complex challenges and accelerate discovery.

  • Data Science Practice

    Provides the data platforms, architecture, integration, analytics, reporting, and consulting that support informed decision-making across U-M.

  • Enterprise Application Services (EAS)

    Develops and supports the enterprise applications that power critical academic, administrative, research, and business operations across U-M.

  • Information Assurance (IA)

    Protects U-M systems and data by managing cybersecurity risk, responding to threats, supporting compliance, and building security awareness.

  • Infrastructure

    Builds and maintains the networks, data centers, telecommunications, and other foundational technologies that connect and support U-M.

  • Support Services & Emerging Technology

    Provides front-line technology support and accessible, scalable services while exploring emerging technologies that can benefit the U-M community.

  • Systems Operations

    Delivers secure, reliable computing, database, storage, cloud, virtual desktop, and web-hosting services for U-M.

  • Teaching & Learning

    Develops and supports enterprise academic technologies that enhance teaching, learning, advising, and learning analytics across U-M.

  • Office of the Vice President for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer (VPIT-CIO)

    Provides university-wide leadership in IT strategy, governance, privacy, faculty affairs, enterprise architecture, and project management.
